A police officer was killed in a shooting on Monday. A civilian was killed and another police officer was injured, police said.

It’s a very, very sad day. It’s a nightmare. He was a great, great police officer. Lots of credibility. And he was so passionate. The immediate threat is controlled and safe. So the community is safe. I hope we find out what his motive was, but we don’t know yet.
