French Prime Minister François Bayrou arrives in Mayotte to draw up a relief plan after the deadly cyclone

French Prime Minister François Bayrou arrived in Mayotte on Monday as part of a large ministerial delegation promising to bring aid to the overseas territory after a devastating cyclone killed at least 39 people and injured thousands. Bayrou said he would announce a relief plan on Monday evening “that will pave the way.”
