South Korea orders aviation safety investigation after plane crash kills 179 people

South Korea has ordered an aviation safety investigation after one of the country’s worst air disasters. A passenger plane skidded off a runway in South Korea on Sunday, crashed into a concrete fence and burst into flames after its landing gear apparently failed to extend. All but two of the 181 people on board were killed.
