The arrested Italian reporter planned to provide “balanced reporting” on Iran, a journalist says

Italian journalist Cecilia Sala, who was arrested by police in Iran over a week ago, planned to provide “balanced coverage” of the country by reporting on the “facts and realities on the ground,” said FRANCE 24 correspondent Saeed Azimi. Azimi said he met Sala three days before her arrest in the presence of a translator from an Iranian placement agency.
