Katie Maloneyis an understated romance featuring the Sleeping With Sirens guitarist Nick Martin was fascinating Vanderpump Rules fans since she first spoke about their connection.
During an episode of her “Disrespectfully” podcast in October 2024, Maloney surprised listeners with rreveals her new relationship status.
“I have a boyfriend,” Maloney told her co-host Dayna Kathan. “Yes, I’m in love, everyone. I’m really happy.”
Maloney decided not to name her But his partner at the time added: “He is the most wonderful person I have ever met. He’s very nice and he just makes me feel really special and he’s really special and yeah, I’m just really happy.”

Later this month, Maloney’s Vanderpump Rules Costar Scheana Shay confirmed speculation that Martin was the mysterious man.
“There’s been a lot online lately. I saw small parts. But let me tell you, he couldn’t have been nicer,” Shay shared on her own podcast. “He’s from San Diego and we were just talking about it. Then I met her again later at the end of the night at the hotel and (he) was just such a sweet guy. I caught the end of their set.”
Since then, Maloney has shared more photos of her two-year romance with Martin after her separation from Tom Schwartz. The former couple was married for six years before divorcing in 2022. Schwartz, for his part, continued along Sophia Fast.

“This weekend I was with my friend. He has to travel for work, so I met up with him, hung out with him and hung out some time,” Maloney shared on her “Disrespectfully” podcast, referencing their relationship for the first time. “It was really amazing because I hadn’t seen him in a few weeks and it was really necessary and really nice to just be able to spend some quality time with him and just be close to him.”

In response to a fan question, Maloney’s co-star Shay confirmed that she had met Martin.
“We were all with the artist trailers in the hangout area (at an event) and he and Katie came over while I was waiting in line at the taco truck to get food. I said hi to her,” Shay recalled on her “Scheananigans” podcast. “She introduced me to her boyfriend.”
Shay continued: “We actually left Fall Out Boy a little early because they were playing at the same time. But I wanted to watch Sleeping With Sirens. I wanted to see what the band was about. They were really good.”

Lala Kent joked about Shay Blow up Maloney’s placeIn an episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, she shared, “Scheana Shay was the one who confirmed Katie Maloney’s relationship. She told me, ‘I accidentally confirmed it.'”
Kent mocked “clueless” Shay for speaking about Maloney’s romance on a public platform. “(Katie and Nick) haven’t confirmed (their relationship) because I read that he’s going through a difficult divorce and they have to keep quiet about it,” she claimed.
While some things never change, the Vanderpump Rules cast is used to adjustments and tweaks. Vanderpump Rules was introduced to Bravo viewers during a special episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in January 2013. Schwartz clearly showed his support for Maloney Page six he was “so happy” for her and Martin.
“I haven’t met her new husband yet, but I’m so happy for her,” he said. “I’m serious, I love seeing her happy.”
Schwartz also gave an update on his dynamic with Maloney, stating, “We are friends. We’re not best friends – I don’t want to overstate it, but we’re cool. We are in a good place. We are friends again. There is no friction or tension.”

Maloney celebrated Martin’s special day on Instagram, writing, “Happy birthday my ❤️!!!!” The social media upload included a sweet photo of Maloney staring at the Sleeping With Sirens guitarist. This was the first time Maloney publicly acknowledged the romance since rumors began two months earlier.
