Pope calls on “all people of all nations” to suppress the noise of weapons in the Christmas address

Pope Francis called on Wednesday to “silence the guns around the world” in his traditional Christmas address. He called for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine and Sudan and denounced the “extremely serious” humanitarian situation in Gaza.
