Israeli settlements and the growing divide between settlers and Palestinians

The Israeli settlement of Karnei Shomron in the occupied West Bank is one of more than a hundred settlements carved into Palestinian land. Today, more than 700,000 Israelis live in scattered communities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem that the United Nations describes as illegal. About 15% of the settlers are Americans. Correspondent Seth Doane speaks with two settlers originally from West Virginia and Detroit and West Bank Palestinians who now live on the other side of an Israeli security barrier.
