Tesla is recalling almost 700,000 vehicles due to a problem with tire pressure monitoring


Another day, another Tesla recall. This time the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of nearly 700,000 Tesla vehicles warning them of a problem with a tire pressure monitoring system warning light, as reported by the .

The recall affects the 2024 Cybertruck, 2017-2025 Model 3 and 2020-2025 Model Y vehicles. NHTSA says the tire pressure monitoring system warning light may not illuminate between trips.

Tesla says it will send an over-the-road (OTR) update to vehicles affected by the warning light issue. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent on February 15, 2025.

There have been more than a few Tesla recalls and OTRs over the past year. The NHTSA recorded last year for the Cybertruck to resolve issues related to the , and loose trunk beds. Tesla released an over-the-air update for in June including select models 3, S and
