WHETHER he agrees to a rematch or goes in a different direction, Daniel Dubois’ crushing fifth-round knockout of Anthony Joshua has certainly put the 27-year-old in a much stronger position.

However, given Dubois’ success since that evening, coupled with the never-ending low-blow controversy, followed by wins over Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and now Joshua, the slugger would like his chances in a second attempt. Of course, should Usyk defeat Fury? If Fury wins, depending on the circumstances, a third fight could be on the table, leaving the best of the others to fight for the duels under the table.
Anthony Joshua’s stunning defeat has left him falling behind Zhilei Zhang and Joseph Parker, the latter a heavyweight he has already beaten. Zhang also lost to Parker, but would be considered a handful for anyone. The Chinese southpaw is rumored to be close to agreeing to a clash with another heavyweight beast in the form of Boxing News’ No. 10 ranked heavyweight Martin Bakole.
Fast-rising Agit Kabayel, who has talked about a possible fight against Joseph Parker next, is ranked seventh and is aiming to break into the top five. Deontay Wilder (#9) and Filip Hrgovic (#8) are currently holding on to their respective positions.
