Jacob Roloff‘s wife, Isabel RoloffShe wanted to know all the dirty details about her gallbladder after undergoing surgery earlier this month.
Isabel revealed via social media on Monday, December 16, that she asked her doctor if it was possible to obtain photos of the removed organ after it caused her so much pain.
“I asked my surgeon to take photos of my gallbladder during the operation,” he said Small people, big world alum said in an Instagram Story post, noting that her surgeon showed her the pictures before she was discharged later that same day.
Isabel recalled her doctor telling her the gallbladder would “burst” and that it was full of “hundreds of stones,” even going so far as to compare the enlarged organ to “the size of a golf ball!”

The reality star added that she would show her followers the pictures, but admitted that the post was “might be too graphic.”
Isabel shocked her fans on Monday when she revealed this went to the emergency room for “painkillers.” Later that day, she updated her followers, explaining that she had “lived with chronic gallbladder pain for at least four years” following an unspecified diagnosis in 2020.

After going to a nearby emergency room for abdominal pain, she was discharged advised to go to the emergency room where doctors performed emergency surgery to remove the gallbladder. “I actually woke up crying because I had such instant relief after the surgery,” Isabel said via Instagram, noting that she still had “some pain” at the incision site.
Isabel later confirmed that she had “headed home” on Monday, sharing a photo of herself in a wheelchair with a “feel better soon” balloon.

Since returning home, her husband of 27 years has helped her recover. “This guy was a really good ‘nurse’ who took good care of me,” Isabel shared on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 17, posting a photo with Jacob.
Jacob and Isabel tied the knot in September 2019 after five years of dating. They welcomed her first childSon Mateo, in 2021.
Just weeks before Isabel’s emergency surgery, she and Jacob celebrated Mateo’s third birthday with a party at the Roloff family farm in Oregon, where they live and work.
“What an amazing day to celebrate our 3 year old 💛 Thank you everyone for coming!!!” the couple captioned a shared Instagram post on December 8th. The truck party featured chocolate muffins and Christmas cookies for guests that included both family and friends.
