Pete Davidson is back and better than ever.

The 31-year-old comedian rocked an all-black outfit paired with a red leather jacket during his visit All In: Comedy about love by Simon Rich Gala Performance at the Hudson Theater on Monday, December 16th. Davidson stepped out to support his longtime friend John Mulaneywho stars in the Broadway comedy show. The duo even posed together for a photo series.

Davidson’s rare appearance on Monday was his first red carpet appearance in over a year and his last Transformers: Rise of the Beasts in June 2023.

The comedian has been in the public eye since he began his career more than a decade ago and speaks openly about his mental health problems.

Davidson recently discussed his decision to live a low-key life in a new profile for In the magazinepublished on Thursday, December 12th.

“I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been holding back,” he joked during the interview, which promoted his latest project as creative director of sock brand Doublesoul.

Davidson went on to talk about how his mindset has changed since the beginning of his career.

“When I was 19 it was all about fit – that was all that mattered. Now it’s about health, family, humility, being a good person and not being a drug addict. Something like that,” he explained. “Luckily I was hit in the face with the Hollywood shovel. It took a long time and I needed it. Mentally I’m very happy where I am now.”

Apart from his term of office on Saturday Night Live – Davidson was a performer from 2014 to 2022 – the actor has become well known his high-profile love lifebut he hopes that will change in the future.

“I just want to be known for doing good work. I only want to be out there for a movie, stand-up gig, charity event or business venture,” he said. “Then I want to be seen. I don’t I want to be that damn loser Who just goes out with people? That’s not me.”

For Davidson, being such a public figure was, in a way, “a blessing.”

“It allowed me to step back and evaluate things,” he added. “What do you want to be? Who are you? I’m from Staten Island and I wanted to do stand-up, and if I could do something else because of stand-up, that was a miracle.”
