Jalen hurts has brought the Philadelphia Eagles back into the front-runners for the Super Bowl, although there is criticism that some of his passing numbers have declined from year to year.
Hurts had 290 yards and two touchdown passes in Sunday’s win over the Hurts Pittsburgh Steelers. Wearing a shiny necklace, he began his postgame press conference, asking reporters: “Is this what you wanted to see?”

Domonique Foxworth, a former NFL defensive back and current ESPN analyst, said on Tuesday’s “Get Up” that the lack of backlash to Hurts’ comments after that game was the result of “quite a bit of privilege.”
“He stood up at the postgame press conference and acted like he was Josh Allen,” Foxworth said. “Look at this man with his Kangol, who looks like Nino Brown… with three billion dollars worth of diamonds on his neck, and who acts like he just ran 400 yards for three weeks in a row.”
“Man, it’s been a good week for you. And everyone forgets when they start staring at you.”

“Pretty privilege” or not, Hurts has it the eagles in addition to the NFC East over 15 weeks.
He has 2,892 passing yards, 18 touchdown passes and just five interceptions this season. His completion percentage (69.2%) is the highest it has ever been in his career. And his 12 wins nearly match his 14-1 season as a starter in 2022.
