We’ll give a little review of what we’ve been up to recently.
Hello friends! How are you doing? I hope you’re having a great week so far! We’re back from Disney Cruise #7 – I’ll be reviewing this week – and getting back into the routine. We came back and it feels like summer – yesterday it was 91 degrees! Ready for POOL TIME and for school to be over lol.
For today’s post I wanted to share some of the recent adventures and favorites! It’s been a packed few weeks here.
Our friends the Kleigers came to town for Beefsteak, one of our favorite events of the year. The Pilot is part of the organization that puts on the event and it’s an epic party with amazing food, auctions, raffles, cocktails and dancing. This year there was a full casino and proceeds benefit veterans and military families.
I was lucky enough to spend a whole morning with Betsy before the event:
We hiked to Tumamoc Hill,
(I hadn’t done this in so long and remembered how much I love it. The view is incredible)
got coffee in the Mercado,
Then it was off to La Encantada for a blowout at the Drybar.
Our babysitter met us at a nearby hotel and stayed with the girls and one of P’s best friends. While we were at the event they swam, ate dinner and watched movies.
Some pictures of the fun:
(Dress is here!! It’s on sale at Dillard’s.
More random pictures and things I wanted to tell you:
These may be my new favorite chips
Lola LOVES riding in her Car seat for puppies
(although she was angry when she realized we were at the vet)
A suitcase from Farm Rio for the Disney cruise:

Pilates with Liv:
She’s been really enjoying taking lessons lately and it’s been so much fun going with her. Last week I was in a lot of pain!
And finally, the book this got me out of my doldrums. I asked ChatGPT what it recommended based on the books I said I really liked, and it narrowed the list down to a few. I downloaded this first And it was everything I love in a book: a comprehensive generational story rooted in history, beautiful writing and deep character development, a page-turner aspect that makes you can’t wait to find out what happened. I read it on the plane this week and devoured it. Apparently there’s a movie too! I’ll take a look at it when I catch up Bridgerton. 😉
I’m working on a few this week I am studying for IHP Level 3Catching up on client calls since I left last week and working on some new resources for other health coaches.
I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to lately!
Any new snack favorites? Planning a vacation? Meeting friends? Books you devoured? I’d love to hear how you’re doing.
xo
