A Russian attack knocks out electricity in Kiev

A massive Russian attack has knocked out power across the country, according to Ukraine’s power grid operator. President Volodymyr Zelensky said more than 400 drones and 40 missiles were involved. Officials say hundreds of thousands of people have been without heat or lighting in temperatures well below freezing in recent weeks as Russia continued its attacks despite U.S.-brokered talks that have so far produced no tangible results. France24 correspondent Emmanuelle Chaze reports on the latest from Kharkiv, Ukraine.
