The governor of Utah, Spencer Cox Charlie KirkWhat he noticed is the most since the Boston Marathon Bomb Bombings.
Kirk, the 31-year-old co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot on Wednesday afternoon on the Utah Valley University campus. He was taken to a hospital in a critical condition before he was later declared dead.

“We cannot do our job without the help of the public. The public has answered our call to act. So far we have received more than 7,000 leads and tips,” said Cox during a news information and added that he is confident that newly published photos and video will lead to additional tips.

The governor also said that almost 200 interviews were managed because the officials continue to look for the shooter.
