“We wanted to show everyone that we are here. Victories and titles are not a matter of course – we have to appreciate them,” Kimmich told Germany’s Sat 1 network.
Bavaria opens the Bundesliga season on Friday at home against Leipzig, while Stuttgart faces Union Berlin a day later.
