I may have exaggerated the driving volume of driving this week, but the weather was nice, so it was fun. Last Tuesday we went on a group trip in the hills east of Gilroy, which began at the entrance to the Mendoza Ranch to Harvey Bear Park. I usually go up from my friendās house there, but lately, but due to Si community problems, I couldnāt drive upright in this long journey, and I was afraid that my backlog would not fit into her vehicle. So I drove from home to the start with the lying end and did a total of 90 km for me (and 3 batteries). However, it was a great journey. From the valley at this time of year it looks very dry in the East Hills, and it is always amazing how pretty it is when you get up in them. On Wednesday I made one of my hard trips, 85 km in 3 hours 25 minutes, with a little more than two hours of brisk pace, followed by some intervals and sprints. Thursday was a hard upper body session, followed by a simple restoration trip, then I went on a long brisk speed ride of 3 hours 20 minutes on Friday. Then yesterday was simple arm cycling and a simple recovery trip for a total of 70 minutes.
