Doha – The Chinese manufacturer of electric vehicles Zeekl has officially launched the market in Morocco through a strategic partnership with Tractic Moders Morocco. Zeekr was founded in 2021 by the Geely Holding Group and brings two Premium Electric models to the Moroccan market.
The partnership aims to satisfy the growing demand for high -quality sustainable mobility Solutions in Morocco. “The introduction of Zeekr in Morocco is an important strategic progress for Tractic Motors,” said Younes El Aouad, General Manager of Tractic Morocco.
Marouane Tarafa, CEO of the Optorg Group, said: “This start is another component in our centuries -long presence in Africa and offers automotive solutions for African markets.”
Two models are now available in Morocco.
The first is the Zeekr 001, a premium shooting brake that begins at MAD 665,000 ($ 66,500) with a range of up to 620 km on a single fee. It has a quick charging function of 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes, with 200 kW DC load being loaded.
Available in three versions with performance outputs from 272 to 544 hp. The version of 544 HP all -wheel drive accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
The second is the Zeekr X, a compact electrical SUV that begins at MAD 465,000 ($ 46,500) with a range of up to 440 km. It offers 150 kW DC quickly from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes and is available in two versions with 272 or 428 hp. The “flagship” all -wheel drive model reaches 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
A third model, the Zeekr 7x Family SUV, will expand the list in the third quarter of 2025. It offers up to 615 km range and has battery in 13 minutes. The “performance” version delivers 639 hp with an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
Zeekr Vehicles are developed in the company’s design center in Gothenburg, Sweden, under the direction of Stefan Sielaff. The models are based on the Sea platform (Sustainable Experience Architecture), which was developed for security, optimized reach and intelligent connectivity.
Tarafa Marouane would like to sell around 100 units this year to establish Zeekr among the Reference Premium brands Morocco.
