The secretariat of the state for maritime fishing announced on Monday that the prohibition on the collection and marketing of conchyl products, which were classified at the level of the conchylitic areas of Duna Blanca (Oyster Breeding Site) and Taourta-Moum Labouir under the Märiti district of Dakhla.
This decision follows the results of the analyzes carried out by the National Institute for Fisheries Research (INRH) at the level of the relevant areas, the state secretariat announced in a press release. These results of analyzes have shown the stability of the environment and a complete cleaning of oysters at Duna Blanca and mussels on the level of Taourta Oum Labouir, the secretariat indicates. The latter therefore recommends that consumers only receive a priority products that bear the identification health designations and are marketed in the authorized sales points (official markets).
