Marrakech – meet millions of coders. Born in the United Arab Emirates, active in 25 countries, worked together in 17 regions of Asia, Africa and Europe and currently associated with over 30 satellite centers.

But here is the kicker – they don’t just spread code. They spread access, inclusion and opportunities.

They landed in Morocco for the first time. And it wasn’t just a Pitstop – it was a strategic step with a deeper calling.

“We are in Morocco for the first time and it is for the social effects,” said Anamika Abhilash, customer relationship specialist for million coders, during an exclusive interview with Gitex Africa.

“Our community is a global technical community of coders and we are located in the VAE.”

From India to the Middle East, from Africa to ambitious students everywhere – millions of coders build a bridge.

A bridge in which access to high skills such as AI, mechanical learning and data science is not connected according to privileges, but operated according to the purpose.

“In our community, we have insights in which you can access all findings regarding data science, AI, coding, machine learning and much more,” she said.

“And you will receive the certification from ACACIA University, which comes from the CSR fund.”

Yes, a globally recognized certification – completely free if you are in the community.

“It costs more than 300 US dollars. But here we give everything for free if you are part of our community.”

Membership? Only $ 10. But it is more than a fee – it is a seed.

“In these ten dollars, all two dollars go to the students who do not have the financial skills but are actually interested in coding.”

You are not just coders. They build up community.

“We have connections with companies,” she noticed.

“For students you can have 80% of the scholarship if you actually earn. And we give you all internship options and much more.”

And the momentum doesn’t stop here. This year you will organize a hackathon – a cross between AI, sustainability and health – with a final in Singapore and a price pool of $ 20,000.

For millions of coders, however, the largest price is the impact.

“We want to set up a Ki Robotiklabor for the schools that actually deserve it,” she said.

The goal? 100 laboratories in three years.

And Morocco – Well, it makes the impression.

“We are very impressed by the people here. They are very inviting, they have a smile on their face and the culture is very nice. The climate is very good,” she said.

So much that you already want to plant roots.

“We plan to expand millions of coders in Morocco so that we can keep Morocco as headquarters in the African region,” she said.

From the overwhelming support in Gitex Africa to the warmth of everyday Moroccan encounters, Anamika summarized it with the kind of clarity that states that this is only the beginning and realizes that “people are very supportive, very positive”.

In the end, millions of coders are not just about teaching technology.

It’s about believing in people. And in Morocco you have found a future to cod for which it is worth.
