Marrakech – The Moroccan Financing Institution Tamwilcom has now summarized the leading startup of the Mena Region Flat6labs at Gitex Africa 2025.
The partnership starts a new acceleration program for innovative Moroccan startups. It focuses on top -class sectors such as Agritech, FinTech, Industry 4.0, Cleanetech, Health Care, Big Data and KI.
The collaboration is based on December 2023 by Tamwilcom with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to develop the acceleration support for Moroccan startups.
“We continue our commitment to Moroccan startups and technology companies,” said Hicham Zanati Serghini, General Director of Tamwilcom in a statement.
“The FLAT6LABS expert will help to structure an important phase of the entrepreneurial journey: the acceleration of innovative projects, which is of essential importance for successful fundraising,” he added.
The program is designed in such a way that start-ups from Flat6labs receive access to high-ranking support.
In addition, the initiative is supplemented by the possibilities of suitable financing options that are provided with startups.
The initiative aims to accelerate the collecting of venture capital donations for participating startups.
The IFC regional representative of the Maghreb David Tinel said that their “cooperation with Tamwilcom, part of the long-standing partnership of the World Bank Group, will strengthen the financing options for Moroccan startups and innovative companies, especially during the crucial startup phase, and the technological innovation in Morocco.”
“This cooperation shows our commitment to supporting sustainable and integrative growth, which is powered by the private sector in order to create more high -quality jobs,” he added.
Flat6labs promises to design and implement a comprehensive support program that focuses on preparing startups for collecting donations.
“The goals of this program are part of our DNA: Open the potential of startups with a high impact by giving them the tools you need to grow to structure yourself and gain financing for national and international development,” explained Yehia Houry, Chief Programs Officer at Flat6labs.
The declaration confirms the joint commitment of both partners to build a more structured, more competitive and innovation -oriented Moroccan entrepreneurial ecosystem that corresponds to the technological innovation ambitions of the North African country.
