This partnership aims to position Morocco as a regional center of La Traveltech in Africa. It is part of the high royal orientations and the “Digital Morocco 2030” strategy and aims to accelerate the innovation in the travel sector and to position the kingdom as an essential pole of the Travelch in the African continent, according to a joint press release.
The convention is based on three axes associated with the digital transformation of the aviation sector. It provides for a joint promotion of the Gitex Africa with RAM as the official van of the event, which strengthen its visibility and at the same time offers advantageous tariff conditions for African participants and startups. In addition, the parties undertake to energize the Moroccan Travelch ecosystem by identifying, accompanying and promoting innovative startups that specialize in the areas of travel and aviation. This commitment will occur through initiatives such as the RAM Digital Open Innovation Program, Regional Road Shows, Mentoring Programs and the creation of a national label “Travelch Innovator”. Finally, this alliance also relies on an exchange of knowledge and co-innovation through training initiatives, feedback and joint development of solutions to promote the development of collaborative dynamics between public, private and startups.
The agreement also provides for the implementation of specific measures that aim to accelerate the digitization of private players in the travel sector, in particular by providing “Moukawala Raqmya” platforms. and “Academia Raqmya”; as well as the organization of workshops to raise awareness of strengthening your digital skills.
