8,680 is the number of companies created in Morocco in January, according to the Moroccan Office for Industry and Commercial Mobiles (OMPIC).
Legal entities dominate with 6,018 companies against 2,672 for natural persons. According to the sector, the trade corresponds to more than a third of the companies (36.2%), followed by construction and real estate activities (19.44%), various services (17.21%), transport (7.93%), industries (7.73%), hotels and restaurants (5.18%), the ICT sector (2.98%), agriculture (1.72%).
In the region, Casablanca sets dominated the classification with 2,783 companies that were founded at the end of January ahead of the Tanger Touan-Al Hceima (1,070), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (1,036), Marrakech-Safi (973). After all, 66.5% of the companies created were companies with limited liability companies with a single partner (Sarl-Au), 33.1% of the limited Liability Liability Companies (Sarl) and 0.1% of public limited companies (SA).
