The International University of Rabat (UIR) won two medals on Saturday, including one in gold, in the 50th International Inventions Salon in Geneva (April 9th to 13th).

It is an innovative energy storage system that combines the severity of belt slices and hydraulic mechanisms. Hyges offers a modular, reliable and economic solution for the storage of electricity.

The inventors Ahmed Zouggar and Maouéna Fongbedji return with a silver medal for their “Footstep Guard” project. The latter is indeed an intelligent orthopedic prosthesis with a vibrant alarm system that prevents sudden shocks by warning the user when his foot approaches the floor.
