The National Social Secial Fund (CNSS) revealed that after a cybernetic attack, the first reviews of the documents emphasized their often fake, false or incomplete character. These documents that were shared on social networks were obtained during a series of attacks that aim to avoid the security systems of the CNSS computer system.
In its press release, the CNSS stated that correction measures were immediately set up to contain data leakage and strengthen the safety of the infrastructure. The origin and extent of the compromise information are currently evaluated.
The CAISSE has confirmed its commitment to protect the personal data of its users and emphasizes that the internal examination is underway and that the responsible judicial authorities have been informed. It also asked the population and the media to remain vigilant and responsible for the spread of this data, under the punishment of judicial sanctions.
