The 39th edition of the Hassan II Grand Prix ended with style in the Royal Tennis Club of Marrakech and confirmed its main event status of the ATP 250 racing route. For a week, the city vibrated the rhythm of fascinating games with world -famous players in a festive atmosphere. Under the high patronage of his majesty king Mohammed VI, the tournament offered a spectacle of great intensity.
The final was particularly memorable, and Luciano Darneri, who triumphed in two sets over Tallon Griekspoor, with each set ending with a tie fracture. More than 25,000 spectators took part in this event and strengthened its international influence.
The tournament was led by the former Moroccan champion Hicham Arazi and, thanks to wild cards, also highlighted local talents. In addition, the Grand Prix celebrated the Moroccan culture with entertainment, including an exhibition in Jemaa EL-FNA.
