The Gitex Africa Marocco Show generates concrete advantages for Moroccan and African digital ecosystems and positions Morocco as a strategic innovation goal, General Director of the Digital Development Agency (ADD), Mohammed Drissi Melyani on Friday.
During a press conference that is dedicated to the 3ᵉ edition for April 14 to 16 in Marrakech, Melyani said that 84% of the exhibitors expressed their wish to build up or develop in Morocco and Africa in order to illustrate the capacity of the exhibition in order to promote investment and technological cooperation on the continent.
Gitex Africa Marocco has established itself as a continental crossing of innovation and brought together startups, investors, researchers and decision manufacturers with regard to important digital topics. This edition will bring together more than 1,500 exhibitors, 800 startups, 350 investors and 400 international speakers who represent more than 130 countries.
On the Moroccan side, participation strategically promises with the “Morocco 200” program, with which 200 local startups can benefit from improved support. At the same time, an e-GOV pavilion will highlight a hundred digital services that lead from more than 25 ministerial departments in a dynamic of the modernization of public administration.
