Rabat-das Honey Company Doray has been based in Seville announced His plans to open a new production plant in Morocco by the end of 2025, according to Spanish media reports. This expansion is part of Doray’s strategic growth plan, which is intended to double sales by 2028 to 20 million euros.
The family -owned family company has been in the honey industry since the 1970s. The first international company took place in Morocco in the 1990s, where it now operates a subsidiary.
With large customers in Morocco, the USA and Europe, 80% of the company’s current sales come from international markets.
“This expansion gives us more security to compete globally,” said Antonio Ramírez, CEO of Foray. The United States is currently one of the company’s most important markets and contribute 30% to sales, while another 30% come from Morocco.
With the new work, the company expects to increase its workforce, currently with 30 employees in Spain and 15 in Morocco. Most of Doray’s honey comes from Andalusian beekeepers, and the company focuses on promoting its brand and at the same time creating innovative honey -based products such as spicy honey sauces and toppings with fruit taste.
Doray’s growth reflects an increasing worldwide demand for honey products, and the company positions itself in order to meet further developing consumer trends.
With his expansion in Morocco, Doray aims to increase the production capacity, create jobs and to consolidate its dominance on the Moroccan honey market and at the same time maintain its international growth.
