Rabat – King Mohammed VI has now appointed a number of civil servants to be constitutional institutions, including Hassan Tariq as Ombudsman Morockos.
Tariq comes into the role with a comprehensive career in law, government and diplomacy.
He was born in Bhalil on January 1, 1974 and navigated political and academic balls with a steady commitment to the public service.
His youngest position As Morocco’s ambassador in Tunisia since 2019, he was the focus of the diplomatic action.
With a doctorate in public law from Rabats Mohammed V University, he also played a key role in science and coordinates a network of public legal and political science departments in Morocco.
His career in public administration began in 1997 as a tax inspector in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance. Later he switched to advisory tasks for the government in 2002 and worked with the Foreign Minister for Young People.
Between 2011 and 2016 he was a member of the parliament and made valuable contributions to legislative activities on justice, legislation and human rights.
As an Ombudsman, Tariq accepts the overarching transitions Responsibility Connect citizens with institutions.
His background positions him to strengthen the mechanisms of these institutions, to expand the mediation efforts and to improve the public relationship.
In addition to the appointment of Tariq, King Mohammed VI Abdelkader Amara appointed President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council and Mohamed Benalilou as President of the National Agency for Integrity, Prevention and the Battle against Corruption.
