Portugal recorded record entries in 2024. Last year, more than 23 tons of cocaine were confiscated, which, according to the annual report of the judicial police, in Lisbon on Wednesday, an increase of 5.9% and a record since 2006.

In 2023, however, cocaine attacks had increased more, with an increase of 31.4% over a year. But the record dates from 2006 when the authorities had received about 34 tons of cocaine.
The Portuguese police also arrested 1,553 people during the various operations against the cocaine trade. This drug, which mainly enters the Portuguese area, mainly comes from Latin America, in which Colombia keeps an eye on.
