Doha-byd, the world’s leading provider of electrified vehicles, has introduced Morocco to its new, fully electric seagull model in Morocco and increased the growing installation of electric vehicles in the North Africa’s automotive industry.
The compact urban vehicle will be available in large cities such as Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir and Tanger from Saturday via Autonejma dealers.
The seagull was specially developed for urban mobility and is equipped with a 38.88 kWh battery and offers an urban range of 445 kilometers. The vehicle supports both alternating current and DC charging functions with 7 kW alternating current and 40 kW -DC charging options.

Driven by an electric motor of 55 kW (77 hp), the Möwel creates a maximum torque of 135 Nm and reaches a top speed of 130 km/h.

With regard to the dimensions, the compact EV measures a length of 3,780 mm, a width of 1,715 mm and increases 1,580 mm. The external design can be inspired by ocean case and create a dynamic and sporty silhouette. The vehicle is available in three color options: black, white and green.
The interior combines functionality with modern technology with vegan leather sports and several storage compartments.
An outstanding function is the 10.1-inch electrically rotating touchscreen display, which is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The vehicle also contains voice control functions for an improved user interaction.
Security features are also integrated with six airbags and a high -strength body structure. The robust construction of the vehicle is designed in such a way that they correspond to high security standards and at the same time maintain comfort for urban drivers who deal with both certainty and convenience.
In Morocco, the seagull is only offered in a single “full option” variant at a price of 209,900 MAD (20,990 USD, including taxes). This positioning makes it a competitive introduction to the growing market segment for electric vehicles.
The start marks the start of the sixth model launch in Morocco since entering the market in July 2023 according to the Han, Tang, Atto 3, Seal and Seal U PHEV.
