Arsenal boss Mikel Areta says that his team played well in 1-1 draw with Manchester United, but could have been slightly lost.
The Gunners defended themselves from a goal after Bruno Fernandes had scored a free kick on the half of the half.
Declan Rice rolled a nice strike on the post before shook the audience in Old Trafford, but the second -placed team of the Premier League had to be satisfied with one point.
And there was a great chance for the hosts to win it at the end of the game, but for a David Raya rescue, not for his first afternoon.
After the game, Areta said: “When we had the first half we had where we were exceptional, we didn’t test the goalkeeper.
“We had some incredible situations, but we didn’t get the last shot or the last pass. We did not capitalize, we rushed the game, we started to lose duels and we would have lost in the end.
“The execution must be the right player and the right player to shoot. How we (opportunities) had given in certain moments was not acceptable. You have so much quality and choose the right player, and usually that would end with one goal.
“We opened the gate to lose the game. There was no chance to lose the game and we opened it ourselves. I will defend my players all the time, but in these moments we have to do better. “
“It was a bit of stupidity from us.”

Rice repeated his manager’s thoughts and admitted that they played well in spells, but in the end the draw was a fair result.
The English midfielder added that Arsenal sits 15 points behind Liverpool in the title race in the title race in the title race.
He said: “In the first half we had some nice plays, but didn’t have this cutting edge. In the second half we were very naive and almost gave the game to Man United. To get back into the game and score and push on. In the end it is probably a fair point.
“We achieved seven weeks a week and that’s not lucky. PSV hadn’t lost at home for two years. You did well and sat well in the low block. It can take 90 minutes to dismantle that. It wasn’t much in the game.
“I didn’t see the goal back. It felt like the ball was flown over us at a low height. It (the wall for the free kick) felt far back. Anthony (Taylor) is the referee, he makes this decision.
“I was happy. I think it’s a little football joke between me and the fans. It is an area that I want to get in again and again and I have created more chances. I still have to add goals. The manager wants to play me number eight to add goals and templates.
“I say the chance that Bruno and David make two large parades, I say this naivety. It was on us and we could have throwed the game away.
“As the manager said, we will continue until the end of the season. Liverpool was incredible all year round. We are arsenal. We were hit hard by injuries. We will continue and we are fine. “
