Rabat – The port of Huelva will launch a new maritime connection with Tanger Med Port this Sunday.
This route will deliver six weekly rotations between Spain and Morocco, said Huelva (APH) port authority in a statement and added that the new line was dedicated to the roll/roll-off freight transport.
The Spanish shipping company Suardiaz Group in cooperation with the logistics operator GTO (Grupo Transonuba) is responsible for setting up the route. The new service aims to be the first high -frequency regular line that connects an Atlantic connection on the Gibraltar street with Morocco.
With a transit time of only six hours, it is ready to facilitate the transport of drywar, cooling loads and IMO, emphasized the APH.
