Barcelonas League Clash with Osasuna was postponed after the first team doctor Carles Minarro Garcia.
The match should begin at 8 p.m. (time in Great Britain) at the Estati Olimpic Lluis Companys. However, the association gave the news of Garcia’s death shortly before the kick -off and confirmed that the game would not go on.
According to the first reports in Spain, Minarro Garcia, 40, died in the run -up to the game in the Team Hotel. He has been working in the club since 2017.

In a statement, the club said: “Barcelona is deeply sad to announce the death of the first team doctor Carles Miñarro García this evening,” said the club in a statement.
“For this reason, the match was postponed against Osasuna and will be reorganized for a later date.
“The Barcelona Board of Directors and all employees extend our warm condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.”
The opponents of the Catalan club, Osasuna, also published a message on social media: “Osasuna wants to want the family of Dr. Carles Miñarro Garcia convey his deepest condolences and send a warm hug to all employees of FC Barcelona and his fans in this difficult time. May he rest in peace. “
