A dozen people were injured at a shootout in a pub in Toronto in the east of Toronto, in one of the police who had classified three men who entered the bar as reckless violence and accidentally fired without warning.
Superintendent Paul Macintyre from the police service in Toronto said that the police received numerous emergency calls that reported a shootout at the Piper Arms on Friday at 10:40 p.m.
A preliminary investigation showed that three men had entered the pub and were filmed on customers, Macintyre said during a press conference at the scene. There were no immediate arrests.
“A man was armed with an attack rifle, the other two men were armed with pistols, and they went to the bar, they produced their weapons and they openly opened the fire to the people who are sitting inside,” added that there was no fatal fatity.

The police arrived at the scene and found 12 people who suffered from various injuries. The victims were brought to local hospitals, and six were confirmed that it had gunshot wounds that were not life -threatening, said Macintyre and called the victims “extremely lucky”. The remaining six victims were injured by flies and broken glass.
The motif was not immediately clear, said Macintyre and called the shootout “a brazen and ruthless act of violence that really shaked our community and the city itself”.
Macintyre said that he and other officers were “horrified” by what they saw in a security video. “These boys just looked at the floor and opened the fire,” he said.

Shortly after the shootout, the police said that a suspect who wears a black Balaclava was fleeing in a silver car and was still at large after the shootout. People were warned to keep themselves away from the area.
Olivia Chow, Mayor of Toronto, said she spoke to police chief Myron Demkiw and “all necessary resources” was announced.
“This is an early and ongoing examination – the police will provide further details,” wrote Chow on social media. “My thoughts are with the victims and their families.”
