Nottingham Forest has displaced a tense penalty gate to pursue the challenge of Ipswich Town and book a quarter -finals from the FA Cup to go against Brighton.
After nine perfect punishments, ipswich was easily saved by Matz Sels to start passionate celebrations from the Waldbank and the stands.
After a faithful first 45 minutes, George Hirst scored his third goal of the season to put Ipswich in the lead and did not mark from one corner on the long post.

The Forest Skipper Ryan Yates soon equalized and, with an intelligent header, met an Anthony Elanga cross back in the middle.
Yates hit the back of the network with another header, but he was offside before Callum Hudson modes hit the bar.
Both sides interpreted their main strikers with Chris Wood and Liam Delap, but both came and scored in a shooting full of brilliant punishments until Taylor appeared.
Forest has won all four penalty shootouts in the FA Cup ā only MacClesfield Town and Stevenage have a better record.
Ipswich was already in the quarter -finals in 1993 and the wait continues, while the fine season of Forest continues on two fronts.
