Rabat-Das Moroccan-American network brought entrepreneurs, civil servants and managing directors for the ninth edition of the Small Business Summit 2025 in Alexandria, Virginia.
The event aimed at strengthening the economic relationships between Morocco and the USA and at the same time offering a platform for Moroccan entrepreneurs who live in the United States to expand their investments.
The Mayor of Alexandria, Alyia Gaskins, addressed the participants and recognized the initiative, which was listed by the Moroccan network and its subsidiary Avactions Audio Visual.
The Moroccan-American company based in Alexandria works under the leadership of businessman Mohamed Hajjam. His mission focus About the support and award of small entrepreneurs.

The city manager James Parajon also spoke at the event and underlined the depth of the US Morocco relationships. He described them as a historical partnership that has encompassed over two centuries.
Parajon pointed out the role of the event in promoting new opportunities for Moroccan and American managing directors for cooperation. He emphasized Alexandria’s economic strength, with a gross domestic product of over 20 billion US dollars exceeded and recognized the contributions of over 20,000 Moroccans who call the city at home.
“Your presence is an integral part of our economy,” he said.
Hajjam, the CEO of Avactions Audio Visual, thanked the mayor’s recognition. “This honor means a lot to me. At Avactions, we believe in the power of small companies, to change communities and create opportunities for future generations, ”he said.
The Moroccan-American network continues to promote business growth and leaves a imprint in the Moroccan identity in the United States. Alexandria officially recognized his activities, especially with the hosting of the “Morocco Day” and the preservation of the symbolic “key to the city”.
The network will hold another event on May 10th and bring Moroccan economics leaders in the USA and Morocco together under the banner “Rooted in Morocco in America: Moroccan success stories”.
