Samsung has debuted its latest midrange phones, the Galaxy A36 and A26, with larger displays, more powerful processors and inevitably new AI functions. The Phones Costs 400 US dollars or 300 US dollars and are offered for sale at the end of March.
The company also presented the Galaxy A56 phone with a price of 500 US dollars, which will be available later this year. The A56 has a larger display than last year Galaxy A55New AI functions and camera improvements, says Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy A36: $ 400
The Galaxy A36 5G costs 400 US dollars.
With 8.2 mm thick and 196 grams, the Galaxy A36 5G is thinner and lighter than the A35 5G of last year, which weighed 7.4 mm thick and 209 grams. As in the past year, the phone contains a 5,000 mAh battery, but has 45-watt super-fast loads, which, according to Samsung, can charge the phone almost 70% in 30 minutes. Thinner bezels increase the display to 6.7 inches compared to the 6.6 inches of the A35. The A36 has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an increased lace brightness of 1,900 nits, so that the screen is ideally easier, even if it is in a brightly lit environment. Both the front and the back offer cornings Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, which, according to Samsung, improves durability. The company says that they are all “FHD+” solution, which usually means 2,220 x 1,080 pixels.
Cameras also receive an upgrade with the support of HDR video recordings on the 50-megapixel main camera. Like the phone of the last year, the A36 also has an 8-megapixel ultraWide and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front camera runs from 13 to 12 megapixels, but supports the 10-bit HDR video recording. It is worth noting that more megapixels do not mean better camera.
The support of HDR can help pictures and videos, a wider dynamic area (the difference between the brightest parts of a picture and the darkest parts) and look more detailed and more colors. In the event of night shots, Samsung serve larger pixels sharper, more lively images with minimal noise, even in extremely bad light – larger pixels can collect more light and have less image noise. You can find AI functions on the A36 like To search for Google’s circlewhich can now also translate on-screen text and identify music. Samsung debut these new functions in his flagship Galaxy S25 List in January. The AI-powered photo editing tools include an extended object grille with which you can now select several objects to be eliminated, and a filter function with which you can create a custom filter based on a photo. The A36 is driven by Qualcomms Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor compared to the Exynos 1380 Galaxy A35. It is delivered with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of memory. According to Samsung, there is also a larger cooling system to better guide the heat and optimize for gameplay and streaming.
The Galaxy A36 will be available in black and lavender on March 26. An exclusive Lime version is also available via Best Buy.

Samsung Galaxy A26: $ 300
The Galaxy A26 5H costs 300 US dollars.
The (even cheaper) Galaxy S26 is also thinner than its predecessor and measures 7.7 mm compared to the Galaxy A258.3 mm. A larger FHD+ display will also receive a larger FHD+ display thanks to reduced lünettes that correspond to the 6.5 inches of the A36. It shares a refresh of 120 Hz.
While the A25 of the last year contained a glass front and a plastic brick, the A26 bumps things with Gorilla Glass Victus Plus both on the front and on the back, just like the A36. The frame remains plastic. Like the model of the past year, the A26 has an 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, an 8-megapixel ultraWide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera as well as a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
The Galaxy A26 5G is the cheapest of the three new A series telephones from Samsung.
Despite the lower price, you still get AI functions such as photo editing suggestions and object rubbers as well as a circle. The A26 leads the Exynos 1380 chipset and has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage space. It also has an expandable memory of up to 2 TB and packs a 5,000 -mAh battery.
The A26 will be available on March 28 and is only available in black.

Samsung Galaxy A56: $ 500
To complete the trio, the Galaxy A56 has a 6.7-inch display and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports like the A36 45-watt shop. The A56 is driven by the Exynos 1580 chipset and also has a larger steam chamber with which you can play longer games and watch videos.
The A56 has a 50-megapixel width camera, a 12-megapixel ultraWide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera has a 12-megapixel sensor compared to the 32-megapixel front camera of the Galaxy A55, the both 12 or 8 megapixels Pictures After Pixel Binning. The selfie camera also receives 10-bit HDR support, and a low noise mode helps to take sharper photos with poor lighting conditions, says Samsung.
A feature that is only available on the A56 is the best face with which you can nail a group photo by selecting the best expressions for up to five people and then combining them into an image. This is similar – in the name and in execution – for Google’s Best setting Feature in the Pixel series. The A56 also receives an extended object rubber and filter functions.
Samsung has not yet shared any color options for the A56 and only explained this year that it will be available later this year.
