Archie Gray believes that Tottenham has the opportunity to finish her 17-year waiting for silver by winning the Europa League this season.
Despite a challenging domestic campaign, in which Spurs took 13th place in the Premier League and left both domestic cup competitions – European success remains a realistic goal.
Many bookmakers currently rate Tottenham as favorites to raise the Europa League Trophy, with the last conflict against AZ Alkmaar began next week.
Gray, 18, was an outstanding actor in a difficult season for Spurs. His efforts were recognized on Thursday when he was appointed men of the year at the London Football Awards.
After receiving his award, Gray opened the lengthy trophy village of the association, which goes back to its triumph of the 2008 league.
“It is not something we are talking about because we know that the opportunity we have is golden, especially in the Europa league, with the squad we have and the people come back from injuries, we know that we can change this (trophy record),” said Gray.

“We only concentrate on the next game and are carried away. The goal (the Europa League) is definitely the goal, but we are not carried away. It is the next game of the Europa League, but we take every game. “
Since the change of Leeds United last summer, Gray has made 35 appearances and has often been more of a center of the middle than in his preferred midfield role.
The English U21 international also praised the influence of the club captain Heung-Min’s son and shame to help him settle at Spurs.
“He is definitely a world-class player and as a person he is probably one of the nicest types I’ve ever met,” added Gray.
“Since I moved to the club for the first time, he has always sat down and had breakfast with me every morning.
“To be fair towards them, they helped me to settle down very well, and everyone was incredible with me.”
