UM6P opens the presence in station F, the next Africa program starts


Doha – University of Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) officially initiated its presence in station f, the world’s largest startup campus, on Thursday. The event also marked the start of NextAtrica, the UM6P in station F.

NextAtrica is the first transcontinental Europa-Africa acceleration program, which is dedicated to Greentech, Incorrectand Healthtech. It offers a hybrid approach that combines immersing in station f with access to the infrastructure of UM6P in Morocco and enables startups to develop, test and structure their innovations.

The inauguration of topics “Innovation together: a bridge between Europe and Africa to form the future”, emphasizes the vision of UM6P, an intercontinental ecosystem that drives the development of groundbreaking solutions.

Over a period of six months, selected startups benefit from the state-of-the-art entrepreneurial environment of station f and receive access to the advanced technological infrastructure of UM6P via start gate, the start-up campus.

The participants also receive mentoring from African and European experts and strategic connections to investors and industrial partners.

As part of this initiative, UM6P ventures will also be available at station F to promote the financing options for startups and synergies between European and African risk capital ecosystems.

“Due to the change between station f and starting gate, startups will experience a double immersion – and anchored in an African innovation center on the European market,” said Yassin Laghioui, director of entrepreneurship and venturing at UM6P and CEO from UM6P Ventures.

“This initiative reflects the UM6P vision: talent, infrastructure and capital to promote the next generation of African tech scale-ups,” he continued.
