Doha – The National Observatory for Children’s Rights (ONDE) has announced the introduction of a project for digital children’s health records. The announcement took place during the celebration of the Maghreb days for school and university health under the topic of “importance of school vaccination”.
Directed Onde President President Lalla Meryem is implemented in cooperation with several partners, including the Ministry of Population of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, as well as various pediatric scientific societies.
According to the announcement, the digitization project aims to provide an integrated digital platform that offers families and members of the health professions immediate access to the essential medical information of children, including complete vaccination records and medical consultations.
The initiative will improve preventive health care by sending automatic memories for vaccines and medical examinations to ensure precise and sustainable monitoring of children’s health.
In addition to the basic health monitoring, the project will set up a digital channel for the distribution of health guidelines and the provision of special consultations, especially in terms of mental health.
These efforts aim to prevent neurological developmental disorders such as autism, learning difficulties and hyperactivity.
The project represents a qualitative shift in preventive health management for children, improves the efficiency of medical interventions and contributes to faster and effective health services in harmony with digital transformations in the health sector both nationally and internationally.
In the meantime, the situation in Morocco remains in relation to measles outbursts concerningEspecially in children. The country recorded 3,355 new cases and six deaths in the same period between 10 and 16 February.
