The Royal Maroccan Football Federation announced the schedule of the national team for friendly games in June 2025. Morocco will be organized on June 7th, followed by a game against Benin on June 10th as part of the preparations for upcoming continental competitions.
These games come as the Atlas Lions in March on important qualifications of the World Cup, where they will compete in the fifth and sixth round of Group E. Niger and Tanzania.
Morocco is currently heading his group at the qualifications of the 2026 World Cup with nine points from three wins. Niger and Tanzania Trail with six points each, followed by Sambia with three points, while the Democratic Republic of Congo remains on the ground without points. Eritrea, originally part of the group, had previously withdrawn from the qualifications.
