The Akdital group, head of the private health sector in Morocco, has strengthened its presence in the Laâyoune region by acquiring Laâyoune and Al Hikma Medical Center.
The Al Hikma Medical Center, a multidisciplinary setup of 76 beds, offers a number of services, while the Laâyoune Polyclinic with 240 beds offers greater medical care, including an operating room and an emergency services 24 hours/ 24.
Subject to the approval of the competition council, this acquisition is part of the group’s strategy to expand its network in the southern provinces and thus contribute to the modernization of the Moroccan health system and to better access to care.
