Chester Bennington’s child Draven comes out as trans

The child of the Linkin Park singer made the announcement as part of a message she shared to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Draven Bennington also revealed that she has hormone replacement therapy and that it is the “best decision” she has ever made.

On her Instagram page, Draven publicly announced for the first time that she was transgender after appearance in August 2024.

The artist’s statement, who was heavily loaded with emotions, revealed how she had to struggle with her feelings before she finally resigned herself.

“For a long time I tried to be someone, someone I really weren’t inside,” she wrote in a note. “It worked for a while to ignore it, but continuously get to the intersection to be happy or complacent, was one that I couldn’t cross any further.”

She added: “In August last year I decided to go the path of happiness and be true to myself. I came out as a transgender.”

Draven continued that she started hormone replacement therapy, treatment that is administered to transgender and gender fluids in order to close her gender identity closely with her physical appearance.

According to Draven, sharing the news on Valentine’s Day felt like the “perfect time” because the day should celebrate love.

They also recognized the support they received from friends and family, especially their mother Samantha Bennington, who was married to Chester from 1996 to 2005.

“With all the support and love I have received, I built up the strength to love myself. So I decide not to hide who I am. Love is love,” she closed.

Draven’s mother showed support for her child by writing a loving remark to determine how proud she was on the singer because she had shared her decision with the public.

“I am so proud of you. I love you with all my heart and my soul,” wrote Draven’s mother in the comment area of ​​the article.

She added: “You are my favorite person on the planet. I just want you forever happy and always happy and always happy.”

She also revealed that Chester paid attention to combining time with all of his children when he took a break from the touring.
