The A14 is only available in dark gray and in a configuration: a Snapdragon X (X1-26-100) CPU with 32 GB RAM and 1-TB SSD. The 14-inch screen (non-touch) has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The ports include two USB-C sockets with USB 4.0, a single USB-A 3.2 port and an HDMI socket in full size. One of the USB-C connections is used for charging.
Average performance
All of these specifications are quite an introduction to a laptop of this family tree, but it is the CPU that should attract attention. The Snapdragon X is Qualcomm’s latest microprocessor and also its cheapest and least powerful version of the Snapdragon X Plus, which already felt sluggish.

The good news is that the Snapdragon X-equipped A14 is not significantly differentiated than laptops with the Snapdragon X Plus. The bad news is that the performance is not particularly impressive and these laptops (including the A14) all tend to pull something. It is not the end of the world when you browse on the Internet and enter e -mails, but it would be nice that a machine shows a little strength of this slim stature – mall, but powerful. The A14 is particularly sluggish when it comes to graphics and video performance, and buyers should not dream of using it for creative work. Fortunately, Qualcomm has made progress in software compatibility in recent months, and previously unusable apps such as Google Drive are now working well.
Asus creates a maximum battery life of a whopping 32 hours for this device, and although I do not approach this level with a complete screen, full fault and YouTube playback test. (I have tested this twice to ensure.) You will surely be able to further stretch by switching off Wi-Fi and deviating the brightness what is solid when choosing, but even with “just” 20 hours, the machine is on the Long -termevity front.
The audio is better than expected, surprisingly rich and much loud. This is supported by a dead quiet machine. There are fans in the A14, but I never made them start even under the heaviest load that I could throw on it. User -friendliness is also solid because the keyboard has a lot of action and, although it is spacious, the trackpad is not overly large.
