The bank deposits reached 1,271.4 billion DH at the end of 2024 and, according to Bank al-Maghri (BAM), recorded an annual increase of 9%.
The budget occurrence rose by 7.5%compared to the previous year, which corresponds to 924.3 billion DH, including 209.6 billion DH, which were held by Moroccans abroad (MRE).
Private non -financial companies recorded their deposits by 15.6%and reached 236.6 billion DH. The remuneration rate for 12 -month deposits increased by 26 basis points by 3%, while the 6 months depots decreased by 2 basis points to 2.33%.
The minimal remuneration rate for the savings for the first half of 2025 was set to 2.21%, which marked a decrease of 27 basis points compared to the previous semester.
