Astro Bot from the ASOBI team took five large awards at the Dice Awards, including Game of the Year.

The awards organized by the Academy for Interactive Art & Sciences (Aias) celebrated the developers and studios, which developed the most groundbreaking video games of the year. Candidates and finalists are determined by their over 30,000 membership from industry experts. The awards were awarded in 23 categories that celebrated success in technology, art, animation, history and audio.
The Swedish game developer Arrowhead Game Studios was also significantly done by members of the Academy for their work on Helltivers 2 (which sold 12 million copies) of the year and online game of the year.
Machinegames received three awards for Indiana Jones and The Great Circle and took awards for outstanding character successes and outstanding achievements in the history and adventure of the year.
Gamescience was awarded for Black Myth: Wukong outstanding achievements in the Art Direction, while Atlus’ Studio Zero Role play of the year took home: Refantazio.
The night celebrated not only games, but also two incredible industry leaders. Don James, a leader and cornerstone of Nintendo of America’s Legacy, received the lifespan axy Award for his contributions to the game industry, from his basic work at Nintendo to his passions at Starlight Children’s Foundation.
The Aias also honored Ted Price, President and founder of Insomniac Games, with the Hall of Fame Award for his contributions to game development, including the leading Insomnia games for three decades and the support of the first change rights of the video game creator.
The 28th annual Dice Awards ceremony of the 28th annual DICE award ceremony took place on February 13th in the Aria Resort & Casino. The event was made by media partner IGN Live Stream and organized the reproduction of co-moderator Greg Miller from Arta Funny and Stella Chung to bring the gaming community together for an evening of the celebration.
