After all, this spin -off is inferior to the original film in every respect. But the failure of this spinoff underlines the simple fact that Bird’s house is one of the few really original horror films that earn a real sequel.
The continuation of the bird box
Before we can talk about them Bird’s house Continuation that we deserve is important to discuss the sequel (if reluctantly). Bird box Barcelona Follows a protagonist who has become one of these creepy boys from the first film who survived to look at the invisible monsters of the film, and is now devoting himself to forcing others to take a look at it. Throughout the film, we receive flashbacks about how it has been interspersed with scenes today, in which, led by the spirit of his dead daughter, our psychopathic seer causes chaos throughout the ruined world.

On paper, this is a great and unconventional idea for a follow-up film, but the execution is too short in several ways, including the film that has ever properly developed its characters. The film never moves beyond its interesting premise and makes it easier to notice how much of this film is a lame round renewal of the original.
Now, Barcelona sucks, but I say that the original Bird’s house Is interesting enough to earn a real sequel. Ideally, such a sequel would have a big name to anchor it like Sandra Bullock for the first film. Mario Casas does the best that he can do like leading the poorly written Bird box BarcelonaBut someone with a little more power could give a future continuation of international attraction.
A proper follow-up
Bullock itself would be the best choice for an appropriate casting Bird’s house Continued because many fans would like to see what their character is going to do now. The first film ended with the fact that our protagonist was sure to get to a special Community Where she can raise her two children in this post -apocalyptic world safely (or at least as safe as possible). It would have been narratively worthwhile to track these characters, which is why it was so strange that that was Bird box Barcelona was more of a strange side story than an actual sequel.
Barcelona Gestures to promote the action by showing that scientists are trying to counteract the effects of the creatures that all drive to suicide or madness. Ideally a future Bird’s house The sequel would investigate whether this was successful and whether these mysterious creatures have a different opportunity to harm humanity. For example, people who are immune to their psychological influence would not mean much if they only had exotic claws or teeth and the people kill more directly.
Also while some Bird’s house The fans would prefer to preserve the secret, I can’t help but owe us a sequel that owes us these monsters that we have never seen before. It is a funny horror base food to take a look under the bonnet, whether this means to find out who is ghostface or just see how Funky Jason Voorhees really looks under this mask. The fans were curious about them Bird’s house Beasties since 2018 and a decent continuation would be an opportunity to give us what we want to see.

They ensure an interesting double game, but they convince them that this franchise deserves a continuation that does justice to the original. As for BarcelonaWell … it will be likely to cover up your eyes so that you don’t let you go crazy that the terrible film will turn your television into a very mediocre post -apocalyptic landscape.
