The head coach of Liverpool, Arne Slot, says that his team could have done much better after lost in the FA Cup against Plymouth.
A punishment in the second half was the difference in the game, but the red had trouble creating chances at 0-0.
After a week with heights after making the Carabao Cup the final again, the slot swallowed its modest cake without symptoms.
He said, “I think you can do it better. But it is a system and a playing style (from Plymouth) that is quite difficult to chance against the creation
“We saw that today. I was not surprised because in the run -up to this game we saw many long balls, second balls, and when we had the ball, they were really aggressive. That was expected.
“It is not always easy to create your chances if the team has not played together so often. We expected you to play a better game than this, but we also have to attribute Plymouth.

“I think it hurts everyone. This includes Liverpool fans, I, the players. We all wanted to be in this competition as long as possible. If you go out in the first possible game, that’s a sad way.
“Today they fought further into the last second. Perhaps the only chances we created were in the last five, 10, 15 minutes. It was not a problem with the work, they worked very hard, but they couldn’t find any openings and they couldn’t find any chances.
“We just have to do the work rate the same. We have to be a little more creative in the coming games. “
