Roku, Apple TV and Google TV (also known as Chromecast) are worthwhile streaming platforms. With each of them you can display thousands of films and television programs in large apps such as Disney+ and Netflix. And if you see all of your favorites on a TV with a large screen, it is much better to look at it on a smaller laptop or a smartphone screen.
But the Fire TV from Amazon has a leg when it comes to built-in VPN compatibility. In contrast to Archrival Roku, the Fire TV system from Amazon offers VPN apps directly through the integrated App Store. This is important if you want to see a show or a film that is otherwise not available in your country. Start a VPN, set your virtual location and you will probably receive a different series of advertising options for many streaming services – or the possibility to access those that you otherwise had no access. We will explain the details and tell you how it works.
Choose the right VPN for your fire television

Install the VPN
Installing is easy if you know which Fire TV VPN you want to use. Go to Find> Simply search the name of your preferred VPN in the main menu – simply enter “VPN” if you want to search all available options. There you will find the desired service (or are already subscribed to) and start installation. The process should not take too long. As soon as it is finished, you can start using it.
Use your Fire TV VPN
As soon as you have downloaded the app, navigate in your Fire TV dashboard. You have to enter your user name and password or register to create an account. Some VPNs may have to create an account on their smartphone or computer beforehand.
As soon as you have registered, you can either click the “Connect” button on your VPN or search the server list to select which country you want to tunnel. After connecting to the Fire TV start screen, return your streaming platform of choice to check whether the content is different. If so, your VPN works and you are ready to stream.
